Thank you. That is a territory these hands haven’t really gone into yet. Have wanted to try making like those rooms like:

It looks like really have to hard reference your source material, to even tracing over the entire environment (after adjusting). I heard long ago that those old games that featured these (pc-98 era) graphics used the computer’s algorithm to automatically convert to this but I don’t know the specifics or how true it is.

For now would say to find some pixel art backgrounds on the web you like and study them up close for reference and to just try it out or use tutorial to your liking.
